Twenty three years ago, the controversy about sinking ships to create artificial reefs was raging. During the making of a documentary in Venezuela South America, all of the sudden, a cargo ship sank in Venezuelan waters. So it happens that this ship was capture by our cameras, and the sinking created a legal battle between environmentalist, insurance companies and the Venezuelan government. After documenting the wreck site for five years, this sunken ship demonstrated how a ship could become an artificial reef.
